I know it is brilliant, because I had the same idea back in March of 2009, but couldn't get any developers to help me fast enough. Too bad I couldn't (and wouldn't) give up my day job as photographer shooting weddings around the world. I bought 'airport maps' a few months ago and knew it wasn't half of what I wanted the app to be. An Apple employee told me to keep going with my app if I though I could improve on the airport maps....but now I see there is no point. Gate guru is exactly the app I would have designed. Bravo.
